Cortney is a second-generation coach. Her background is in psychology and she holds a Masters Degree in Counseling.
Having grown up in a coaching household, Cortney was always drawn to the field. In 2013 she obtained her certification as a Master Practitioner of NLP. In 2014, she became a Certified Personal and Executive Coach through the CAPP Institute. She continues to engage with higher-learning organizations as she pursues very specific designations around neuroscience, focusing on individual and organizational performance.
Cortney resides in Austin, Texas with her husband, Andrew, and her son, Wesley.
